The Convey team was proud to be part of the 10th anniversary CILT (UK) Transport and Logistics Annual Safety Forum Conference, which took place at the impressive National Memorial Arboretum on the 14th November and was attended by speakers and delegates from a wide range of sectors.
Our Commercial Director Karen Crispe and Product Manager Paul Heath were in attendance at the conference, and it was an exceptional day for everyone there and was made even more memorable by the visit of the CILT (UK) patron, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal.
Karen shared the stage with some great speakers on the day to reflect on the past, present and future of CILT (UK) initiatives, as well as exploring together how technology is influencing behaviours, competence, health and well-being in the area of safety and logistics. In her presentation, Karen explored the main challenges facing the industry today, from compliance legislation to site security, from the impact of sustainability to the human factor in daily operations.
Immediately after the talk, delegates were invited to highlight the category that was of greatest importance to them and their businesses, and this data will be used to help shape the focus for both next year’s conference and the years ahead.
As you can see, compliance came top of the delegates’ poll by a considerable margin, which gives us a clear view of what is front of mind for the majority of people at the moment. Compliance is at the heart of everything we do here at Convey and we are confident of our ability to help more and more businesses succeed in 2024 and beyond!
