Driving for Better Business Appoints Convey Technology as Delivery Partner

Convey Technology is delighted to announce that it has been awarded Delivery Partner status with the Driving for Better Business organisation. This reinforces Convey’s ongoing commitment to keeping road safety at the forefront of all its activities.

Driving for Better Business is a National Highways programme designed to help both private and public sector employers to reduce work-related road risk, control the associated costs and improve compliance with current legislation and best practice guidance, and provides access to helpful online tools and resources.

Driving for Better Business (DfBB) Delivery Partners are commercial organisations whose output contributes to the improvement of work-related road safety and risk management. Sharing insights and guidance within the DfBB community and promoting road safety improvement within their own business networks.

The DfBB programme has already registered more than 2 million drivers*, more than 1 million company cars* and more than 1 million light commercials vehicles and more than 200,000 HGVs.
*Including those owned by employees and driven for business.

Karen Crispe – Director of Convey Technology said; “Partnering with Driving for Better Business further supports our commitment to helping improve road safety which is something we are incredibly passionate about. We look forward to working together to promote the goal of safer road usage for all to help support operators not only with road safety and their compliance requirements but also to help improve their productivity because these things are most definitely connected.”

Jim Magner of Driving for Better Business says: “Partnering with organisations that share our vision is inspiring and I’m especially pleased to welcome Convey to the Driving for Better Business family to work together promoting good practice in road risk management, among its customers. By becoming a partner, Convey clients will have access to a range of free resources, guides and tools. These will help deliver significant benefits, both for the companies and their employees.”

One immediate benefit for Convey’s customers, resulting from the partnership with DfBB will be the help and assistance that Convey can give to those wishing to develop effective Driving for Work Policies. As Crispe says; “Such policies can bring significant benefits to the organisations that implement them. With dramatic savings in maintenance costs, insurances, fuel costs as well as reductions in accidents and improvements in driver performance, health and wellbeing.”
