CILT’s Women in Logistics Conference was held on 18th April. The focus this year was Collaboration for Success. It was the largest event that this forum has ever held with over 170 attendees plus many more joining online and some highly interesting and very current topics discussed, the use of AI in logistics being one of these along with GXO Logistics emotional talk on Collaboration for Skills and featuring their Fresh Start programme which gives prisoners the chance to re-integrate and add value back to society.
The day began with a panel session, hosted by Karen Crispe (FCILT), on Collaboration for Supply Chain Efficiency. “We’ve had great feedback from our panel session, which people have commented was “insightful and thought provoking”.
As well as hosting the panel, Karen also played a key role in organising the event and helped arrange a number of the various speakers to attend. So getting such positive feedback on the whole event makes all the time and effort worthwhile.
