Nearly 75% of drivers say that they think that £35-45 is a reasonable price to pay once a year to make sure their car is roadworthy and safe, and 67% believe that lives would be at risk if MOTs were extended.
New data from a survey of UK drivers conducted by Savanta, shows that they are very conscious of safety on the roads and are opposed to changes in the MOT regulations. (This article – linked – shares a number of the findings from the Savanta survey.)
At Convey we feel it’s encouraging to see that maintaining vehicle safety is important to these survey responders. Much of what we do at Convey is designed to help fleets keep their drivers and other road users safe, so it’s heartening to see that non-commercial drivers are also concerned with safety and maintaining the roadworthiness of their vehicles.
