Description

The Convey RD unit enables complete automation of the digital download process, saving time and eliminating the need for manual downloads. It automatically downloads both the driver card and vehicle unit data via a GPRS SIM card, helping you stay compliant with digital tachograph legislation.

All downloads are carried out on a regular basis and are sent directly to Convey Tachograph so no manual intervention is required. Our team will configure the unit for your vehicle(s) and it will need to be installed by a qualified fitter.

This unit also has the functionality to provide tracking (if required).

To use Convey’s remote downloading service, the latest version of your company card must be used to securely authenticate the process each time, enabling data access and downloads. Operators can choose to host the company card themselves, but this card must be connected at all times. Alternatively, Convey, via our partner, can host your company card for you to ensure no loss in service. This process is fully secure and compliant with all relevant data protection regulations, including GDPR.

Specifications

Supports VDO 1.3+ tachographs with a secondary CAN-Bus enabled and Stoneridge Rev 7.0+. Please check with us to see if your tachograph is compatible.
Download any EU Digital Tachograph which supports CAN-Bus remote download.
A Company Card is required to allow remote authentication via an additional card reader, which must be available at all times.
